Battery Rack, Bracket, Busbar & Cable Compatibility Matrix

Battery Rack, Bracket, Busbar & Cable Compatibility Matrix

Model-specific fitment guide · Evidence reviewed August 2026

Match the battery label to the rack, bracket, busbar, cable or tray that the manufacturer actually names.

Search current Torven Power hardware for RUiXU, RICH SOLAR and Epoch systems. Every row states what is documented, what still needs confirmation and where a familiar-looking part must not be treated as compatible.

✓ Exact-model evidence 35 fitment decisions Searchable on mobile No voltage-only guesses
Compatibility is not established by nominal voltage, rack-unit height, connector appearance or brand alone. A “Verified exact model” label means the reviewed manufacturer source expressly names the pairing; it does not approve cable ampacity, protection, anchoring, parallel count, firmware, inverter settings or the finished installation. Confirm the delivered hardware revision and current manuals before purchase and installation.

Three labels, three different decisions

The labels deliberately separate an exact named match from a plausible family-level fit. “Not verified” does not always mean physically impossible; it means there is not enough current manufacturer evidence to recommend ordering that pairing.

✓ Verified exact model

Named in a current source

The manufacturer names the battery model, accessory model—or both sides of the connection—in the reviewed product page, kit or installation material.

△ Manufacturer-family match—confirm revision

Supported, but wording is incomplete

A manufacturer source supports the family or kit path, but a standalone SKU, model-year chart, module count or revision detail is ambiguous.

✕ Not verified

Stop before ordering

The reviewed sources do not name the pairing, or a nearby model creates a real risk of choosing the wrong rack, connector, tray or platform.

Battery hardware compatibility matrix

Search a model such as “Lithi2-16,” “RX-LFP48100,” “ALPHA 5 PRO,” “SR48100H” or “12314-ECO.” Filter results by brand, component and evidence status.

Searches the visible model, compatibility note and product name. Filters can be combined.

Showing all 35 decisions

Status applies only to the pairing described in that row. Follow the exact product link and re-check the current manufacturer documents before ordering.

No rows match those filters. Clear one filter or search the exact SKU printed on the battery or accessory label.
A result can verify fit without verifying quantity. RUiXU's current bracket-rack pages contain inconsistent module-count wording, RICH SOLAR's legacy ALPHA 5 page contains conflicting rack dimensions, and some cabinet pages do not expose the same SKU used in Torven's catalog. Those details are deliberately not “resolved” by guessing.

Before-ordering checklist

Use this list even when the matrix says “Verified exact model.” The accessory is only one layer of a safe battery system.

  • Photograph both labelsCapture brand, exact model, SKU, serial range or hardware revision on the battery and accessory.
  • Open the current manualUse the document for the delivered revision—not a marketplace description or a manual for a similarly named model.
  • Confirm physical fitCheck outer and usable dimensions, rack depth/U-height, mounting holes, connector clearance, cable bend radius and service access.
  • Calculate structural loadingReview battery, rack and fully populated weights; floor/wall capacity; anchoring; seismic or mobile loads; and delivery clearances.
  • Match every conductor endVerify connector family, keying, polarity, stud diameter, lug stack, cover clearance and manufacturer torque.
  • Engineer cable and protectionSize conductors, branch protection, disconnects and busbars for continuous current, surge, voltage drop and available fault current.
  • Check included partsDo not assume busbars, covers, interconnects, communications cables, cage nuts, casters or wall fasteners are included.
  • Verify environment and accessConfirm IP rating, temperature range, ventilation, indoor/outdoor restrictions and working space around live equipment.
  • Keep battery platforms separateDo not mix legacy ALPHA 5 with ALPHA 5 PRO, Lithi2-16 with 3U rack hardware, or an H suffix with an MC suffix without written approval.
  • Get final system reviewHave a qualified installer verify the finished structure, wiring, communications, protection, grounding and applicable local rules.

A correct rack does not make a complete system

Mechanical fit is only the first gate. A complete battery installation also has to pass electrical, communications, environmental and structural checks.

Planning a server-rack bank?

Compare current battery modules, heating, communications and expansion constraints in the 48V server-rack battery guide.

Have the model labels but not the answer?

Send Torven Power photos of both labels, the exact battery quantity, inverter model and intended layout. A model-specific question is much easier to verify than “Will this 48V part fit?”

Battery rack and accessory FAQ

Are 48V and 51.2V batteries the same for rack compatibility?

No. Those labels describe an electrical platform, not case dimensions, rails, mounting holes, connector families, charging windows or communications. Legacy RICH SOLAR ALPHA 5 and ALPHA 5 PRO are a useful example: their names are similar, but Torven keeps their rack paths separate.

Will any 3U battery fit a 19-inch server rack?

Not automatically. “3U” describes height, while cabinet depth, rail or shelf support, case width, fasteners, airflow, weight rating, front connector clearance and manufacturer mounting instructions can differ. Use the exact battery-and-cabinet documentation.

Can I match cables by a connector that looks the same?

No. Similar housings can use different contact families, keying, polarity, pin sizes and current ratings. Confirm the exact cable SKU and both equipment ends. RUiXU PP and OP cable paths are intentionally separated in this matrix.

Does an 800A or 600A busbar rating mean my system can run at that current?

No. It is a component limit under defined conditions, not permission for the complete system. Battery limits, parallel configuration, cable ampacity, terminal ratings, protection, disconnects, inverter demand, fault current, enclosure conditions and local rules all matter.

Can I use PP200 anywhere PP140 is listed?

Both lengths appear on RUiXU's RX9MP cable product path, but longer is not automatically better. Confirm the exact delivered variant, routing, voltage drop, securing points and manufacturer instructions. Do not coil excess high-current cable without an approved plan.

Can I put legacy ALPHA 5 batteries in the ALPHA 5 PRO cabinet?

Not from the evidence reviewed for this guide. The cabinet title and SKU are for ALPHA 5 PRO, while the legacy ALPHA 5 has its own rack path. One broad “ALPHA 5 Series” marketing phrase is not enough to override the platform and energy differences.

Why is the RUiXU six- or ten-slot cabinet only a family match?

Current manufacturer kit pages show RX-LFP48100-family batteries in those cabinets, but the standalone cabinet page does not expose Torven's RX6075100 or RX6075177 identifiers and contains inconsistent variant wording. Confirm the delivered cabinet, busbars and accessory pack.

Why is Epoch's parallel busbar not assigned to a battery model?

The current official product page reviewed here identifies the accessory and SKU but does not publish an exact battery-model list or current rating. Torven therefore does not infer a match from brand alone.

What does “Manufacturer-family match—confirm revision” require me to do?

Confirm the exact battery and accessory SKUs in the current manual, kit sheet or written manufacturer response. Also verify any ambiguous quantity, model-year, dimensions, cable pack and hardware revision before purchase.

Sources and methodology

This matrix was reviewed on August 18, 2026. Torven product links were checked live, then each positive compatibility statement was compared with a current official manufacturer product page, kit page or installation resource. Exact titles and model strings were treated as evidence; shared voltage, capacity, dimensions or connector appearance were not.

Evidence hierarchy: exact model named on a current accessory/manual page; then exact model named inside a current manufacturer kit; then manufacturer-family language with a revision warning. Conflicting or incomplete wording was downgraded. “Not verified” rows were added where a nearby product name could plausibly cause an expensive ordering mistake.

Product names, specifications, package contents and manufacturer guidance can change. Torven Power reviewed the cited public sources on August 18, 2026, but the delivered label, current manual and written manufacturer guidance control. This guide is educational and does not replace engineering, installation instructions or code review.
