Frequently asked questions

Does this kit provide 240V?
Not from the included single inverter. It provides 120V output. A different native split-phase inverter or a properly engineered multi-unit design is required for 120/240V loads.
Does 5kW mean the kit includes 5kW of panels?
No. The inverter is rated 5kW AC; the six included panels total 2.49kW STC.
How much solar energy can it make in a day?
At four peak-sun-hours, simple nameplate math is 9.96kWh before losses. Real production changes with location, season, shade, tilt, temperature, soiling, and system losses and is not guaranteed.
Is the battery rack included?
No. The exact bill of materials includes two rack-format batteries but does not list a rack or cabinet. Select an indoor rack/cabinet for the combined weight and site conditions.
Why is there a cable-sizing warning?
The kit BOM lists 4AWG cable sets, while the SPH5048P manual gives different full-output battery conductor guidance. A qualified designer must confirm what each cable serves and validate length, ampacity, terminals, and protection.
