Does the kit include 8kW of solar panels?
No. The inverter is rated 8kW AC. The included array is eight 415W panels, totaling 3.32kW STC.
How long will 10.24kWh run my loads?
Start with usable battery energy divided by average load, then account for reserve settings, inverter losses, temperature, and surge loads. A 1kW average load does not automatically equal 10.24 hours of AC runtime.
Does the kit include a rack for the two batteries?
No battery rack or cabinet appears in the exact SGR-8K10E bill of materials. Plan a protected indoor rack or cabinet that is rated for the battery weight and installation.
Can I add panels or batteries later?
Potentially, but PV expansion must stay inside both MPPT voltage and current limits, and battery expansion must follow the exact BMS, communication, cable, and protection rules. Have the revised design reviewed first.
Is the package ready to install at every property?
No. It includes the listed core equipment and selected BOS hardware. Racking, grounding, conduit, enclosures, service equipment, permits, engineering, and labor remain site-specific.
