Torven Power FAQs

Find practical answers about choosing power equipment, orders, shipping, returns, warranties, manuals, compatibility, and installation planning.

Product fit & sizing

How do I choose a power station?

Compare continuous output, surge output, usable watt-hours, recharge options, and expansion support. Start with the appliance runtime and sizing guide, then use the Power Planner to organize your loads and desired runtime.

How much home battery capacity do I need?

Add the watts of the circuits you need, multiply by the hours of backup, and allow for conversion losses. See the home battery sizing guide or use the Power Planner. A planning estimate does not replace a site-specific design.

Should I choose a battery power station or a gas generator?

The answer depends on runtime, fuel access, indoor-use requirements, noise, and maintenance. Read the side-by-side comparison and follow the manufacturer’s safety and operating instructions for either option.

Can I connect any solar panel to any power station or inverter?

No. The panel or array must stay within the equipment manufacturer’s input limits and use compatible connections. Check the exact-model manual for voltage, current, wattage, connector, and polarity requirements. If anything is unclear, send us the model numbers before connecting equipment.

Orders & shipping

When will I receive tracking information?

Tracking information is sent when it becomes available. Freight tracking may come directly from the carrier, and delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees. See the current Shipping Policy for the full process.

Why did only part of my order arrive?

Products in the same order may ship from different U.S. warehouse partners, arrive separately, and use different carriers or tracking numbers. Check each tracking message first; if an item appears missing, contact Torven Power with the order number.

What should I do if a shipment is lost, damaged, or missing items?

Contact Torven promptly. Include the order number, photos when applicable, and any carrier documentation. For visible freight damage, follow the delivery-inspection instructions in the Shipping Policy.

Returns & refunds

How do I request a return?

Review the Return & Refund Policy, then email support@torvenpower.com with the order number, item, reason, and photos when relevant. Eligibility and product-specific restrictions can vary.

Can I ship a return before Torven replies?

No. Wait for written return instructions and use the approved return destination. An address on a product carton, invoice, or website is not return authorization.

Warranty & troubleshooting

Who provides warranty coverage?

Coverage is provided under the applicable manufacturer’s written warranty and varies by brand, model, application, and purchaser eligibility. The manufacturer determines eligibility and the available remedy. Read Warranty Information before relying on a specific term.

What should I prepare for warranty help?

Have the Torven order number, exact product model, serial number when available, issue description, and clear photos or video. Troubleshooting and other requirements depend on the manufacturer’s process.

Manuals & installation

How do I find the right product manual?

Start with the exact Torven product page and confirm the full model name, suffix, voltage, and revision. Do not substitute a manual for a similar-looking model. If the correct document is missing, send the exact model to Torven for help locating the applicable source.

Does matching voltage or connector shape prove components are compatible?

No. Current limits, voltage windows, polarity, communication protocols, environmental limits, and manufacturer instructions can all affect compatibility. Verify the complete exact-model requirements before ordering or connecting components.

Can Torven’s guides replace a site-specific electrical design?

No. Guides, calculators, product pages, and support conversations are informational. Hardwired, high-voltage, transfer-switch, and service-panel work should follow manufacturer instructions and applicable codes and be evaluated and completed by a qualified professional.
