Solar, battery and AC charging in one power-conversion platform
Build a 24V solar-plus-storage system around 3,000W of pure sine output.
The RICH SOLAR NOVA MAX 3K is a 24V off-grid hybrid inverter for cabins, RVs, workshops and selected backup loads. It combines 3,000W of 120V pure sine AC output with solar and AC charging controls in one wall-mounted unit.
At a glance
Start with voltage, continuous output and surge
3,000WContinuous AC output
24VBattery voltage
120VAC output
2× rated power for 5 secondsPublished surge
A 3,000W inverter can demand roughly 125A before losses
At 24V, full output requires very high battery current. The battery bank, BMS, busbars, conductors, lugs, disconnect and overcurrent protection must all support the continuous and surge demand with acceptable voltage drop.
Why it stands out
Power conversion built for planned off-grid loads
Pure sine AC outputRun compatible electronics, appliances and motor loads with a waveform designed for normal 120V-class equipment.
Surge headroomThe published surge rating is 2× rated power for 5 seconds; compare it with measured motor and compressor start-up demand rather than the running-watt label alone.
Integrated charge controlsConfigure solar and AC charging priorities, battery charge current and source behavior from the control interface.
System fit
Design the battery and charging side before choosing loads.
Match a 24V battery bank to the inverter’s operating window and current demand, then confirm AC output, grounding, neutral treatment, transfer behavior and branch-circuit protection. The solar input is listed at 250V maximum open-circuit voltage, a 90–230V MPPT operating range and 18A maximum input current. Apply cold-weather voltage correction before finalizing a string.
Build a real load listAdd simultaneous running watts and the largest overlapping start-up surge. Include pumps, compressors, microwaves, induction loads, power tools and any sensitive electronics.
Plan the installationAllow for the 5.6 × 12.1 × 18.8 in enclosure, 26.5 lb weight, ventilation, service clearances, cable bend radius, environmental limits and a qualified electrical installation.

Common questions
NOVA MAX 3K system questions
How large should the battery bank be?
Size it from required runtime and current capability. At full 3,000W output, the inverter can draw roughly 125A at nominal voltage before losses, so one battery may not support the required current even when its energy rating looks large enough.
Will it run my air conditioner or well pump?
Only if continuous watts, start-up surge, voltage and frequency all fit—and the battery bank can supply the DC current without excessive sag. Use measured or manufacturer start-up data for the exact load.
Can it power 240V loads?
This model is listed for 120V output. Do not assume native 240V support; choose a compatible split-phase architecture when 240V appliances or service equipment are required.
Does it include the battery and solar panels?
No. This listing covers the inverter. Storage, solar generation, disconnects, protection, distribution and site-specific installation materials are separate.
