Victron VE.Bus Smart Dongle
Add local Bluetooth monitoring and supported controls to a compatible Victron VE.Bus inverter or inverter/charger.
For VE.Bus equipment
Use with compatible Multi, MultiPlus, Quattro and Phoenix equipment with a VE.Bus port and supported firmware. VictronConnect provides monitoring and supported on/off, charger-only and AC-input-current-limit controls. This is a VE.Bus accessory; it does not connect to VE.Direct ports.
Know the control limits
The dongle does not configure inverter/charger settings or update inverter/charger firmware and does not replace an MK3 interface. When a GX device is connected, VictronConnect shows battery voltage, temperature and state, but AC voltage, current and power readings are unavailable. Other control panels or BMS devices may take priority over switch commands; review the manual for your configuration.
Sensing and package contents
Supports battery voltage and temperature sensing and VE.Smart Networking. Includes the dongle, removable terminal block and positive and negative battery wires with ring terminals; the positive lead has an inline fuse. The required RJ45 UTP cable and optional external temperature sensor are sold separately. Inverter/charger and battery are not included.
