The SCC940100100 is the Victron temperature sensor listed for the BlueSolar PWM-Pro solar charge controller family. It lets a compatible controller use the supported external temperature measurement when charging is configured for the connected battery. Select it as a model-specific sensor rather than choosing a probe by its physical appearance.

Use the controller’s documented compensation

The PWM-Pro datasheet specifies temperature compensation of -30mV/°C for a 12V system or -60mV/°C for a 24V system when this sensor is installed. Those are controller settings and operating characteristics, not an instruction to apply the same compensation to every battery. Verify the battery manufacturer’s requirements and configure the controller accordingly.

Confirm the BlueSolar family before ordering

This sensor is identified in the PWM-Pro datasheet as article SCC940100100. It is a different accessory from the temperature sensors sold for a BMV monitor, GX device or inverter/charger. Check the charge controller’s exact model and sensor connection before planning a replacement or extending an existing system.

Include sensor placement in the installation plan

Route the sensor lead and position the probe according to the controller instructions. Protect the cable against damage and keep access for inspection. The sensor does not supply battery management, disconnect charging equipment on its own, or replace a battery BMS and correctly designed protection system.
