The Quattro-II 2x120V manages shore and generator inputs, battery charging and 120V backup power for compatible RV, marine and independent power systems.
Power and charging in one unit
Model QUA122305130 supplies 3,000VA or 2,400W continuously at 25°C, with 5,500W peak capability. Its charger provides up to 120A to a compatible 12V battery bank. PowerControl and PowerAssist manage a limited AC source on L1.
Understand the 2x120V output
Battery inverter mode provides 120V only. L1 and L2 are connected in phase in that mode. A 240V load requires a suitable external 120/240V source; this unit does not generate 240V from batteries. With external AC available, pass-through follows the source configuration. The auxiliary output switches off when external AC is absent.
Plan the complete installation
Two independent AC inputs allow automatic source selection. Each leg has a 50A input rating. Batteries, appropriately rated DC protection, cabling and system configuration are separate. Optional GX equipment provides remote monitoring, while a VE.Bus Smart Dongle provides Bluetooth access. Have the installer verify battery chemistry, charger settings, grounding and the AC distribution design.
