Choose the antenna format for the installation

The ANT100200200 is Victron’s outdoor LTE-M puck antenna, supplied with a 3m cable. It provides a separate antenna option for a compatible cellular communications installation. Select this exact model for the mounting arrangement and cable reach your site needs, rather than choosing only by the appearance of the antenna.

Check the modem, network and connector first

Confirm the communications device’s external antenna requirements, frequency support and connector against its manual. LTE-M is a cellular networking technology; this antenna is not a Wi-Fi access point, GPS receiver, Bluetooth adapter or modem. It cannot add cellular capability to a device that has no compatible cellular interface.

Plan the cable route before mounting

The 3m lead needs to reach the compatible equipment without stretching, crushing or exposing the connection to damage. Reserve a route and mounting location before choosing between the wall-mount and puck versions. Do not assume that an unverified cable extension preserves the antenna’s performance or connection compatibility.

Keep the rest of the equipment appropriately protected

The product is described by Victron as an outdoor antenna. That does not make the attached modem or monitoring device suitable for outdoor exposure. Follow the equipment manual for its enclosure, antenna connection and installation location. Actual signal performance depends on network coverage, position, the connected modem and site conditions; an antenna cannot guarantee service where coverage is absent.

Does it include internet service or a SIM?

No. This is an antenna assembly. The compatible modem, monitoring hardware and applicable network service are separate.

Which version should I choose?

Choose the mounting format and cable length for the planned location, then verify the electrical and connector requirements of the communications equipment. The 5m wall-mount and 3m puck models are different SKUs.
