The WireBox covers the solar charger’s DC terminals to help prevent accidental contact with terminal screws. It is particularly useful when a controller is installed in a space that people can access. A neat covered connection area also makes the purpose of the installation clearer, while leaving electrical design and circuit protection to the complete system plan.

Choose the exact size for your controller

This SCC950200000 is the WireBox-M version. Its documented fit is the 100/30, 100/50, 150/35 and 150/45 Victron MPPT controller sizes. It is not interchangeable with every Small, Medium, Large or XL WireBox. Check the complete charger model and the manufacturer instructions before ordering; matching only a charge-current number can lead to the wrong cover.

Install in the sequence shown in the guide

The quick guide shows fitting the base to the controller before wall mounting. With the controller mounted, secure the cables and fit the cover as illustrated. Plan for access to the mounting points and cable routes before fixing an existing charger in position.

Keep cable sizing and protection separate

A terminal cover does not establish the correct conductor size, fuse rating or disconnect arrangement. Follow the solar charger manual for cable preparation, terminal tightening and protective devices. Arrange cables so the cover can fit without strain, and retain enough service access for inspection under the manufacturer’s instructions.

A mechanical accessory, not a solar controller

One WireBox accessory assembly is offered. The MPPT charge controller, solar panels, batteries, external wiring and circuit protection are purchased separately. The accessory does not add solar-input capacity, increase charge current or convert the controller into a different model.
