This Lithium Iron Phosphate battery is the 25.6V/100Ah Smart model. Integrated electronics balance the cells and monitor cell voltage and temperature. Bluetooth and VictronConnect provide battery setup, cell-status information, temperature monitoring and firmware updates.

External BMS required

The battery's balancing and monitoring electronics must connect to a compatible external battery management system. The BMS controls chargers and loads when a cell-voltage or temperature limit is reached. Battery Bluetooth monitoring does not replace this protection. Choose a BMS approved for Lithium Smart batteries, the bank voltage, current and charger/inverter arrangement; do not substitute an NG-only BMS.

Match the installation and charging limits

The manufacturer recommends up to 100A continuous discharge and up to 50A charging for this model; its listed maximum charge and discharge currents are 200A under the specified conditions. The system's BMS, cabling, fuses and equipment may impose lower limits. Charge only between +5°C and +50°C and discharge between -20°C and +50°C. The IP22 enclosure needs a protected installation.

The Victron BAT524110610 provides 2,560Wh (2.56kWh) of nominal energy for a 24V-class battery system. It is a component for a complete electrical installation: choose it when the battery voltage, charging equipment and external battery management system match your design.

Build around a 24V battery bank

A 25.6V battery is intended for a 24V-class DC architecture. Match it with equipment rated for that bank voltage rather than treating it as a replacement for a single 12V battery. The battery capacity determines stored energy; the inverter, BMS, wiring and protection determine which loads the finished system can support.

See what your battery is doing

Built-in Bluetooth lets you inspect battery information in VictronConnect. Cell-voltage and temperature information help with commissioning and troubleshooting, while integrated balancing electronics manage cell balance. Monitoring helps you understand the system, but it does not replace the required external BMS or correctly installed circuit protection.

Size the bank from energy use

Start with each appliance's watts multiplied by its expected hours of use. Add those daily watt-hours, then allow for inverter losses, battery operating limits, reserve capacity and the time available to recharge. Nominal battery energy is a comparison figure; it is not a guarantee of usable AC energy or runtime. High starting loads require a separate check of inverter surge capacity and all battery-system current limits.

Complete the installation

• Battery management: select an external BMS approved for Victron Lithium Smart batteries and your bank configuration.
• Charging: verify the charger settings and battery temperature limits. Solar charging requires a compatible solar charge controller.
• Power distribution: size battery cables, fuses, disconnects and terminals for the installation and equipment ratings.
• AC loads: pair the bank with an inverter or inverter/charger of the correct DC voltage and output for the appliances.

Is this a self-contained portable power station?

No. This listing is for one battery. It does not include an AC inverter, household outlets, solar charge controller or a complete prewired power system.

Can I use any Victron lithium BMS?

Choose a BMS explicitly approved for the Lithium Smart family. Lithium Smart and Lithium NG have different management requirements; do not substitute an NG-only BMS. Confirm the supported bank voltage, current and charger/load control arrangement in the manufacturer system-design guide.

Will a larger Ah rating run a larger appliance?

Amp-hours describe charge capacity at the stated voltage. More capacity can increase stored energy, but appliance power is also limited by the battery's current ratings, the BMS and the inverter. Compare watt-hours for energy and the complete system's power ratings for appliance compatibility.
