Storage with cell-level system monitoring

The BAT512130620 is a 12.8V, 300Ah Lithium Iron Phosphate battery in the Victron Lithium NG family. Its nominal energy is 3,840Wh at 25°C under the manufacturer test conditions. Integrated cell monitoring, balancing and a shunt supply battery data to a compatible external NG battery management system.

A separate NG BMS is mandatory

This battery is not a self-contained drop-in battery. Connect it to a supported Victron NG BMS and follow the applicable design guide for charger and load control. The NG communication interface uses M8 circular connectors. Bluetooth monitoring is provided through the BMS, rather than a Bluetooth radio in the battery. BMS, GX monitoring equipment and system wiring are separate.

Choose the correct voltage and installation

Match the battery voltage, bank arrangement, BMS rating, fuses and cable sizes to your system. Do not mix NG and older Lithium Smart batteries without explicit manufacturer compatibility guidance. Charging is permitted from +5°C to +50°C; discharge is rated from -20°C to +50°C. The IP65 enclosure does not remove the need for a protected, secured installation.

Cycle-life ratings and included equipment

Victron rates this series for 2,500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, 3,000 at 70%, and 5,000 at 50%, with at least 80% nominal capacity under its stated conditions. These are test-condition ratings, not a promise of calendar life or runtime. This listing includes one battery with manufacturer mounting brackets. External BMS, inverter, charger and installation components are sold separately.
