VICTRON BLUESOLAR MPPT

Compact 10A solar charging for a 12V or 24V battery

The MPPT 75/10 combines solar battery charging and a separately rated load output in a compact controller for a carefully matched small solar installation.

Exact retail SKU SCC010010050R. One controller; solar panels, battery, monitoring accessories and installation wiring are separate.

Build a compact solar charging system

The Victron BlueSolar MPPT 75/10 manages charging from compatible photovoltaic panels into a 12V or 24V battery bank. Its 10A battery charge-current rating suits smaller solar installations where panel sizing, battery requirements and available mounting space need to work together. Consider it for a small cabin, RV auxiliary battery or other appropriately sized off-grid DC system.

MPPT charging follows changing solar conditions

Maximum Power Point Tracking adjusts the controller's operating point as panel conditions change. The programmable, adaptive multistage charging algorithm lets the system be configured for the battery rather than assuming every chemistry has identical requirements. Match absorption, float and any temperature-related settings to the battery manufacturer's instructions and required BMS protection.

Size the array using voltage and current limits

This model has a maximum PV open-circuit voltage of 75V and maximum PV short-circuit current of 13A. Its nominal PV power references are 145W on a 12V battery and 290W on a 24V battery. Those figures do not establish compatibility by themselves: check the cold-weather string voltage, total parallel-string current, wiring and protective devices. The PV voltage must exceed battery voltage by 5V for startup and by 1V afterward.

Use the dedicated load output appropriately

The separate load terminals support automatic low-voltage disconnection and the BatteryLife load-management option. Maximum continuous load current is 15A; this is separate from the controller's 10A charging rating. High-current loads such as an inverter need a correctly designed battery connection and suitable remote-control arrangement where applicable. Do not route an inverter's main power through these small load terminals.

Choose the monitoring connection you need

BlueSolar provides a VE.Direct communication port. Bluetooth is not built in: wireless VictronConnect access requires a separately purchased VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle. A supported GX device and the correct cable can provide wired system monitoring. Choose SmartSolar instead if integrated Bluetooth is a priority.

Installation and package planning

This listing is for one BlueSolar controller in the supplier's retail SKU, not a complete solar kit. Select the panels, compatible battery, BMS where required, mounting hardware, correctly sized cables and circuit protection separately. The electronic components are rated IP43 and the connection area IP22; choose a protected mounting location and follow the installation instructions for clearances, cable termination and connection sequence.

BlueSolar MPPT 75/10 buying questions

Can it charge a 48V battery?

No. This exact model supports 12V and 24V battery systems with automatic voltage selection. Choose a controller explicitly rated for 48V when planning a 48V bank.

Are solar panels and a battery included?

No. The controller is one component of the charging system. Match the panels and storage to the electrical limits and the application.

Does it power household AC appliances?

No. This controller charges a DC battery. AC loads need a separately selected inverter and an appropriately designed battery system.

How should I compare the 75/10 and 75/15?

Both have a 75V PV open-circuit limit. Compare charge-current capacity, nominal panel power at your battery voltage and array short-circuit current; the higher-current model does not increase the PV voltage limit.

Compare solar charge controllers before finalizing your equipment list.
