Frequently asked questions

Does one SPH10048P provide both 120V and 240V?
Yes. One unit provides native 120/240V split-phase output and can also be configured for 120V single-phase operation.
Is this a utility grid-tie inverter?
No utility-export or net-metering claim is made. The verified certificate identifies it as a stand-alone inverter; grid or generator input may be used for bypass and charging.
How much PV can I connect?
The manual lists up to 11kW across two MPPT inputs. Each string still has to meet the 500V absolute Voc, 125–425V MPPT, 22A-per-input, and cold-weather limits.
Can I parallel more inverters?
The manual supports up to six properly configured units. Phase assignment, communications, AC protection, battery conductors, and output architecture require an engineered design.
Can it be mounted outdoors?
No. The current enclosure rating is IP20, so install it indoors in a protected, ventilated location within the specified temperature and humidity limits.
