18K 18kW 48V Hybrid Inverter
Build a residential solar-and-storage system around an 18kW hybrid inverter with 48V battery inputs, three MPPTs and 200A grid passthrough.
Power for demanding home loads
The Sol-Ark 18K combines solar conversion, battery charging and backup control. At 120/240V, it supports 18,000W continuous backup output and 36,000W surge for 10 seconds. At 120/208V, output is rated 15,600W continuous and 31,200W surge. Actual load support depends on the battery system, installation and operating conditions.
Flexible solar and battery planning
Three MPPTs support two PV strings each. The September 2026 manufacturer sheet lists 32,400W maximum STC-rated PV and 28,800W maximum usable combined MPPT PV power. The 48V battery operating range is 43–59V. Both battery inputs are needed for full rated inverter and charger performance; using one input derates output.

Supplier SKU 18K-2P corresponds to the manufacturer 18K-2P-LV product family, also described in its warranty as 18K-2P-N. This is the standard inverter, without an EMP accessory package or pre-installed revenue-grade-meter option. Select an approved battery configuration and have a qualified installer verify utility requirements, permits, array design and protection equipment.
