7.2kW split-phase off-grid inverter/charger
Cover everyday 120V loads and selected 240V equipment from one 48V power center.
The RUiXU SUNON7.2 combines 7.2kW of 120/240V split-phase output, dual solar MPPTs and solar/grid battery charging in one indoor off-grid inverter. It fits medium-size cabins, homes and workshops that need more capability than a 120V-only system without stepping up to the 12kW class.

Split-phase output still needs a real load plan
List the 120V and 240V loads, their starting surges and expected run times. A 7.2kW nameplate does not mean every appliance can start or run together.
Balanced off-grid capability
A practical middle ground for mixed-voltage loads.
120/240V split phaseSupport common North American voltage needs from one unit when the output panel and loads are professionally designed.
Dual MPPT solar inputTwo trackers help the designer organize compatible PV strings while RUiXU lists up to 9kW total PV input.
Time-based energy controlScheduled charging and discharging can coordinate solar, batteries and AC input around the property’s operating plan.
System fit
Check PV voltage, battery current and motor starting surge.
Confirm the 40–60V battery range, BMS communication, maximum charge current, continuous and surge loads, AC input and all protection. RUiXU lists 500V maximum PV open-circuit voltage and a 90–450V MPPT range.
PV designUp to 9kW listed PV input across two MPPTs; string voltage must remain within limits at the coldest expected temperature.
Indoor installationRUiXU lists an IP20 enclosure. Install in a protected, ventilated location with required clearances.

Common questions
RUiXU SUNON7.2 FAQ
Can SUNON7.2 run 240V equipment?
It provides 120/240V split-phase output, but the specific load, starting surge and total simultaneous demand must fit the engineered system.
Is it a utility sell-back inverter?
Do not use it for grid export. It is sold as an off-grid inverter with AC input and charging functions.
How large can the solar array be?
RUiXU lists up to 9kW PV input. The installer must also keep every string within the inverter’s voltage and current limits.
Can I parallel units later?
RUiXU lists up to six units in parallel. Expansion requires compatible units, firmware, wiring, protection and configuration under the current manual.
