Replaceable single-circuit PV protection in four amperage choices

Choose a 10A, 15A, 20A or 30A inline fuse for a compatible solar branch.

The RICH SOLAR waterproof inline holder places a replaceable 10A, 15A, 20A or 30A fuse between solar-connector leads. The manufacturer publishes a 1,000VDC rating, IP67 protection under stated mated conditions and UL94-V0 insulation for a correctly sized single PV circuit.

Which amperage should I choose?

Use the panel maximum-series-fuse rating, branch short-circuit current, conductor ampacity and code requirements. Do not choose the largest option by default.

Do I need one on every solar panel?

It depends on the number of parallel branches and possible reverse current. A qualified designer should determine branch protection for the exact array.

Can I replace the fuse in the holder?

Yes, the fuse is replaceable. Isolate and verify the circuit first, then install the same approved type and rating after correcting the fault.

Can I disconnect it in full sun?

Do not open or separate PV protection under load unless the equipment is specifically rated and the current procedure allows it. Isolate the array safely first.
