Connect a compatible RJ45 RS485 product to the Renogy DC Home app.
The Renogy BT-2 is a Bluetooth 4.2/BLE module for selected Renogy equipment with an RS485 communication port. It draws power through its RJ45 connection and enables supported live data, history and parameter access in the Renogy DC Home app within local Bluetooth range.

What is the difference between BT-1 and BT-2?
BT-1 uses RS232 with RJ12; BT-2 uses RS485 with RJ45. They are not interchangeable.
Can I monitor from outside Bluetooth range?
Not with BT-2 alone. It is a local Bluetooth adapter; off-site access requires additional supported gateway and network services.
Will it work with any RJ45 port?
No. The port must use the supported Renogy RS485 pinout and protocol on a compatible model.
Which app should I use?
Renogy specifies the DC Home app for BT-2. The older Renogy BT app is no longer supported.
