The Renogy RBT100LFP12SH is a 12.8V 100Ah smart lithium iron phosphate battery with automatic self-heating. It is intended for RV, marine and off-grid systems that need a legacy Renogy smart battery with cold-weather charge support.

Renogy states that heating begins only when an external charger is connected, the battery is approximately 5–41°F, and charge current is greater than 4A. Heating stops when the battery reaches approximately 50°F.
System fit
Do not mix it with newer Renogy battery families or wire it in series.
Use a LiFePO4 charger whose voltage and current match the battery. Renogy limits continuous charge current to 50A and recommends batteries connected in parallel be the same brand, type, voltage, capacity and state of charge.

No. Renogy’s FAQ says this model may be connected only in parallel, with up to eight matching batteries.
Does self-heating use the battery’s stored energy?
No. Renogy states that the heating circuit uses power from the external charger.
Does it have built-in phone monitoring?
Not by itself. Renogy documents DC Home app communication through a compatible BT-2 module connected to the UP port.
Can I charge it below freezing?
Only through the documented self-heating process and within Renogy’s temperature and charger-current conditions. Never bypass the BMS or force charge a cold battery.
