Resilient output for uneven sunlight
A 200W N-Type panel designed to reduce partial-shading losses.
The Renogy RSP200DC-ASR combines N-Type cells with the ShadowFlux interconnection design for rooftop, RV and off-grid installations where passing shade can affect conventional modules.

Designed for rooftops where partial shade is hard to avoid
ShadowFlux uses a cell-level bypass design to reduce the power loss and hot-spot risk caused by point, line, patchy and moving shadows. It is a practical rigid-panel choice when roof vents, racks, antennas, masts, branches or wiring can cross part of the module during the day. It improves behavior in partial shade; it cannot produce normal output in complete shade and still benefits from shade-aware placement.
Partial-shade resilience
ShadowFlux is engineered to keep more of the panel contributing when a portion of the cell field is shaded.
20.7% module efficiency
N-Type 16BB cell construction delivers the exact-model module-efficiency rating without confusing it with Renogy's separate cell-efficiency claim.
Compact rigid format
A 49.69 × 30.08-inch footprint fits many RV, marine and cabin roof layouts where usable mounting area is limited.
Higher-voltage PV profile
A 31.3V operating voltage and 36.5V open-circuit voltage favor MPPT-based system designs with enough input headroom.
Best fit for
- RV and van roofs affected by vents, racks, antennas or moving shadows
- Marine and cabin installations with masts, branches or other partial obstructions
- Compact off-grid arrays built around a compatible MPPT controller
- Buyers prioritizing partial-shade behavior over rear-side bifacial collection
Check before ordering
- Renogy recommends MPPT; for one panel, use PV input capacity above 50V and charge-current capacity above 10A
- Confirm the device accepts 36.5V Voc, 6.86A Isc and 200W, including cold-weather voltage correction
- Check connector polarity, wire size, mounting clearance and the 15A maximum series-fuse rating
- Do not combine it with existing panels based only on wattage; compare all electrical values and optimizer requirements
What “anti-shading” meansShadowFlux reduces losses from partial shading; it does not create power in full shade. Renogy recommends keeping more than half of the panel in direct sunlight whenever possible.
What's in the box
- One Renogy 200W ShadowFlux N-Type rigid solar panel (RSP200DC-ASR-US)
Mounting hardware, cabling, adapters, protection devices, controllers, inverters and batteries are included only when specifically listed above.
Buyer Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does ShadowFlux work in complete shade?
No. It is designed to reduce loss from partial shading and still requires sunlight to generate useful power.
Is this a 12V or 24V panel?
Its 36.5V open-circuit voltage supports use with either battery-system class through a properly sized compatible MPPT controller. It is not a conventional low-voltage panel that should connect directly to a battery.
What charge controller does Renogy recommend?
Renogy recommends MPPT. For one panel, it recommends a controller with more than 50V of PV-input capacity and more than 10A of charge-current capacity.
Can it connect to a portable power station?
Only if the station accepts the panel's voltage, current, wattage, connector and polarity. Check all five items before connecting it.
Can I combine it with my existing panels?
Only after checking electrical matching, string design, controller or inverter limits and any optimizer requirements. A shared 200W label does not make two models electrically interchangeable.
