Compact bifacial solar generation

200 watts of N-Type output with rear-side energy potential.

The Renogy RSP200DCT is a compact rigid panel for RV, cabin, marine and off-grid arrays where module efficiency, manageable dimensions and bifacial construction matter.

More usable energy from a compact mounting footprint

The RSP200DCT produces 200W from the front under standard test conditions while its transparent rear construction can collect reflected light that reaches the back of the cells. That makes it especially useful on raised or tilted mounts over brighter surfaces. Rear-side contribution varies with clearance, angle, surface reflectivity, shade and weather; this remains a 200W-rated module, not a guaranteed 260W panel.

Bifacial energy collection

The front captures direct sunlight while the rear can use reflected light. Renogy states that favorable installations can produce up to 30% additional energy harvest, but actual gain is site dependent.

N-Type 16-busbar cells

N-Type monocrystalline construction and a 16BB layout support a 19.9% module-efficiency rating in a relatively compact rigid panel.

Two independent power zones

The half-cut, two-zone design allows the unshaded section to keep contributing when partial shade affects the other section.

Built for permanent mounting

An aluminum frame, pre-drilled mounting points and an IP68-rated junction box support properly designed RV, marine, cabin and ground-mount installations.

Best fit for

  • RV, boat, cabin and small off-grid arrays with limited panel space
  • Raised or tilted mounts with airflow and rear clearance
  • Installations above snow, light roofing, concrete or other reflective surfaces
  • Buyers who want a compact 200W rigid panel and can verify controller fit

Check before ordering

  • Use a compatible solar charge controller or inverter; never connect the panel directly to a battery
  • Check cold-corrected array Voc, total Isc, PV-input limits and maximum series-fuse requirements
  • Confirm mounting dimensions, connector compatibility, wire size and overcurrent protection
  • Do not mix it into an existing string based on wattage alone; compare Vmp, Imp, Voc and Isc
Bifacial reality checkA flush mount against a dark surface may provide little rear-side benefit. Give the back of the panel exposure to reflected light if bifacial gain is an important part of your design.

What's in the box

  • One Renogy 200W N-Type bifacial rigid solar panel (RSP200DCT-US)

Mounting hardware, cabling, adapters, protection devices, controllers, inverters and batteries are included only when specifically listed above.

Buyer Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this a 200W or 260W solar panel?

It is rated at 200W under standard test conditions. Favorable rear-side reflection can add energy harvest, but the result is not guaranteed and depends on installation conditions.

Will bifacial technology help on a flat, dark RV roof?

The panel will operate, but rear-side gain may be limited. Clearance, tilt and a brighter reflective surface increase the opportunity for rear collection.

Can it charge a 12V battery?

Yes, through a correctly sized compatible charge controller. Do not connect the panel directly to a battery.

Should I wire several panels in series or parallel?

Series wiring adds voltage and parallel wiring adds current. The correct layout depends on controller limits, battery voltage, temperature, cable distance and panel count.

Can I add it to an existing solar string?

Only after comparing the electrical characteristics of every module and checking the controller, inverter or optimizer design. Matching wattage alone is not enough.
