More solar power per panel

A 300W foldable panel for power stations that can use the extra input.

The PECRON PV300 is a four-fold monocrystalline panel with MC4 connectors, a 41.4V listed open-circuit voltage and an IP67 panel rating. It is the higher-output option for compatible mid-size and large power stations when faster solar collection matters more than minimum carry weight.

At a glance

The electrical profile your power station must accept

300WMaximum listed power
36VOperating voltage
41.4VOpen-circuit voltage
8.7AShort-circuit current
A higher-watt panel is useful only when the input can receive it

Verify the receiving device’s voltage range, maximum current, wattage, connector and polarity. If the station clips input below 300W, the panel may still work when electrically compatible, but the station will not use the panel’s full potential.

Choose it for charging speed

More collection area for bigger batteries and shorter sun windows

Larger portable stationsA good match for compatible stations with enough solar-input headroom to accept most or all of a single 300W panel.
Outage recoveryUse daylight to replenish energy consumed overnight while keeping the station itself shaded and protected.
RV and off-grid chargingDeploy a temporary array at camp or a cabin without permanently mounting a rigid panel.

Portability tradeoff

More output also means a larger, heavier panel

About 28.1 lbPlan to carry and position the PV300 with both hands and keep its path clear.
About 25.0 × 31.1 × 1.9 in foldedCheck vehicle, closet or equipment-bay space before ordering.
About 93.0 × 31.0 in deployedLeave enough shade-free ground to deploy the complete four-panel span and secure it against wind.

Set it up for real output

Placement matters more than the number printed on the panel

  1. Eliminate shade: a branch, roof edge or cable shadow can reduce output across the array.
  2. Track the sun: adjust the kickstand angle and orientation during the day when practical.
  3. Protect the station: place the power station out of direct sun and away from rain while the panel reaches a clear location.
  4. Secure the panel: fold it away in strong wind; portable kickstands are not permanent mounting hardware.
  5. Inspect every connection: keep MC4 and adapter connections clean, fully seated and protected from moisture.

Actual output varies with solar intensity, sun angle, cell temperature, clouds, shade, cleanliness, cable losses and the receiving device’s input limit.

Protect the folding panel

Store upright, with nothing heavy or sharp on top

PECRON instructs owners to store the folded PV300 upright and away from standing water. Let it dry before storage, avoid creasing the active surfaces and route the cable so connectors are not pinched between sections.

Common questions

PV300 FAQ

Will the PV300 always produce 300W?

No. Rated output is a test-condition reference. Real production is usually lower and changes with sun, heat, shade, angle, panel cleanliness, cable losses and the receiving device.

Does it plug directly into every PECRON station?

No. The station must accept the panel’s electrical profile, and an MC4-to-station adapter may be required. Confirm the current manual for the exact power-station model.

Can I connect more than one PV300?

Only if the station and connection hardware support the resulting voltage and current. Series raises voltage; parallel raises current. Calculate the complete array—including cold-weather open-circuit voltage—before connection.

Does IP67 mean I can leave it outside?

No. IP67 does not cover every connector, adapter or connected device, and portable panels are vulnerable to wind and physical damage. Keep electrical connections protected and store the panel after use.
