The PECRON PV200 is a four-fold, 36V portable solar panel with MC4 connectors and an IP67 panel rating. At about 15.2 lb by PECRON’s current specification table, it is the lighter choice in this PECRON panel pair for recharging compatible power stations without committing to a fixed roof array.

The receiving power station or charge controller must accept the panel’s open-circuit voltage in the coldest expected conditions, as well as its current, wattage, polarity and MC4 connection. Never connect a panel directly to a battery without a correctly configured charge controller.

- Face the panel toward direct sun: even partial shade across one section can sharply reduce production.
- Adjust the angle: reposition it as the sun moves instead of leaving it flat all day.
- Keep it cool and clean: high cell temperature, dust and debris reduce output.
- Secure it against wind: the kickstand supports are for positioning, not storm anchoring.
- Keep connections protected: the panel carries an IP67 rating, but exposed connectors and the connected power station still need protection from moisture and standing water.
Rated power is measured under controlled conditions. Real output changes with sun angle, temperature, cloud cover, shade, panel condition, cable losses and the receiving device’s input limit.

Store it like solar equipment
Fold clean, store upright and protect the cells
PECRON instructs owners to store the folded panel upright, avoid stacking heavy or sharp objects on it and keep it away from standing water. Let the panel dry before storage and avoid pinching the cable or connectors in the folds.
Common questions
PV200 FAQ
Will it always make 200W?
No. The 200W rating is a laboratory reference. Sun angle, heat, clouds, shade, panel cleanliness, cable loss and the receiving device’s input limit all affect real output.
Does MC4 mean it works with every power station?
No. MC4 describes the panel connection. The station must also accept the panel’s voltage, current and wattage, and it may require a model-specific MC4 adapter cable.
Can I combine two PV200 panels?
Only when the receiving device and connection hardware support the resulting array voltage and current. Series raises voltage; parallel raises current. Calculate the full array before connecting it.
Is the panel waterproof?
PECRON lists an IP67 panel rating, but connectors, adapters and the connected power station may have different protection levels. Keep electrical connections dry and never leave the folded panel in standing water.
