Run 12V accessories from a balanced 36V battery system.
The Epoch 36V-to-12V reducer accepts 30–45V DC and provides a regulated 13.5V DC output rated at 25A. It powers compatible 12V cart accessories from the full 36V bank instead of tapping one battery.
Fit and system compatibility
Add up every 12V load before choosing the reducer.
Confirm the cart's full-bank voltage stays within the 30–45V DC input range and the combined continuous demand of lights, audio, USB outlets and other accessories stays within the 25A output rating.
- Yellow is input positive; black is input negative; orange is key-on positive; red is output positive; black is output negative.
- Install appropriate input and output overcurrent protection close to the respective sources.
- Mount the heatsink securely in a protected, ventilated location away from water, heat and moving parts.
What's included
This listing covers the Epoch 36V-to-12V voltage reducer with its attached color-coded leads and mounting tabs as shown. Fuses, fuse holders, accessory wiring, connectors and mounting fasteners are not identified as included.
Warranty and safety documentation
Protect both sides of the converter.
Epoch publishes a one-year limited warranty for qualifying accessory defects, subject to its current terms. Disconnect battery power before wiring, verify polarity with a meter and follow the cart and Epoch instructions. Do not tap a single battery in a series bank to obtain 12V.
Common questions
Can I use this on a 48V cart?
No. This model's verified input range is 30–45V DC. Choose a reducer whose input range covers the actual full-charge voltage of the 48V system.
Why not power accessories from one battery?
Tapping one battery in a series bank creates uneven loading. A correctly connected reducer draws from the full bank and supplies a separate 12V accessory circuit.
What does the orange wire do?
Epoch identifies the orange lead as key-on positive. Connect it only as shown in the current wiring diagram for the exact cart.
How do I know whether 25A is enough?
Add the maximum simultaneous current of every 12V accessory and allow appropriate design margin. Do not size the converter only from typical use.
