Is this the same as a 48V battery?
No. It is a 70.4V nominal battery for compatible 72V-class systems. Never install it in a 48V cart or connect it to 48V-only components.
Does the kit include a charger?
Yes. Epoch's current listing includes a 72V 15A lithium charger, plus a battery gauge and 12V converter.
Will it make my cart faster?
Reducing lead-acid weight and maintaining steadier voltage can improve response, but top speed depends on the controller, motor, programming, gearing, tires, load and safety limits—not the battery alone.
Can two batteries be used together?
