Protected 12V accessory power
Step a compatible 36V or 48V source down to 12V.
Epoch's compact reducer accepts 16–58V DC and supplies a fixed 12V output up to 10A or 120W. It is intended for compatible Ryobi and other properly matched 36V/48V accessory circuits within the verified input range.

Fit and system compatibility
Verify source voltage, load and environment together.
The complete source-voltage range, including full charge, must stay within 16–58V DC. The combined 12V load must not exceed 10A or 120W, and every connected device must accept a fixed 12V supply.
- The enclosure is listed IP68; seal and secure all external connections to the requirements of the installation.
- Add correctly sized input and output fuses, wiring and connectors.
- Mount away from heat sources and allow a cable path protected from abrasion, pinch points and moving parts.
What's included
Epoch identifies one 36/48V-to-12V 10A/120W converter and two quick-connect terminals in the package. Fuses, fuse holders and vehicle-specific mounting hardware are not identified as included.
Warranty and safety documentation
Built-in protection supports a correctly protected installation.
Epoch lists overcurrent, overload, low-load, short-circuit and overtemperature protection with automatic recovery. These functions do not replace circuit fuses or correct wiring. A one-year Epoch limited accessory warranty applies to qualifying defects under current terms.
Common questions
Is this only for Ryobi equipment?
Epoch markets this SKU for Ryobi applications, while the verified electrical input is 16–58V DC. Any other use still requires matching source voltage, load, connector, wiring and environmental requirements.
Can it power more than 120W briefly?
Plan the maximum simultaneous load at or below both published limits: 10A and 120W. Do not rely on protection shutdown as operating headroom.
Does IP68 mean every connection can stay underwater?
No. The enclosure rating does not automatically rate splices, quick connectors or the finished installation. Protect and seal every connection for its actual environment.
What happens after a protection event?
Epoch states that the unit can resume automatically after the triggering condition clears. Find and correct the overload, short circuit, heat or wiring issue before continued use.
