Why it stands out

High-voltage storage with protection and communication built in

Up to 7.68kW nominal DC output

A 150A continuous rating at 51.2V supports substantial compatible inverter loads before inverter losses and system derating.

Serviceable Class-T fuse

The integrated 250A Eaton Class-T fuse improves high-fault-current protection at the source while reducing external component count.

Closed-loop Victron support

CANBus communication and DVCC support let compatible Victron GX systems receive battery data and charge limits when configured correctly.

Cold-weather readiness

Internal heating supports charging in cold conditions when external charge current is available, while the IP67 enclosure protects against dust and temporary immersion.

A natural fit for engineered 48V systems

  • 48V marine house-power systems.
  • Off-grid solar storage with compatible inverter/chargers.
  • Premium RV and mobile power systems moving to 48V architecture.
  • Victron-based systems using GX devices and DVCC.

Fit the entire system—not only the headline spec

Series and series-parallel connections are not supported. Epoch lists up to 16 matched batteries in parallel. Verify the 20.86 × 8.65 × 12.06 in Group-8D-style footprint, 97 lb weight, cable ampacity, protection, inverter surge and communication settings before installation.

Manufacturer protection

3,500+ cycles and an 11-year Epoch warranty

Epoch publishes UL1973 pack certification, a 3,500+ cycle rating and an 11-year manufacturer warranty for this V2-T Elite model. Current documentation and terms apply.

Common questions

What is the practical continuous power level?

At 51.2V nominal and 150A continuous discharge, the battery can supply about 7,680W DC before inverter losses. The inverter, wiring and protection must all be sized and derated correctly.

Does it work with Victron DVCC?

Yes, when connected to a compatible GX device with the correct Epoch harness and CAN settings. Follow the current commissioning checklist and confirm the battery appears as the controlling BMS.

Can I series-connect two batteries for 96V?

No. Series and series-parallel operation are not supported. Use only approved parallel expansion with matched batteries.

Is the internal fuse enough for the whole system?

No. It protects the battery source, but downstream circuits still require properly sized conductors, disconnects and overcurrent protection.
