This is a dedicated 36V-class battery, not three user-accessible 12V batteries. Confirm charger voltage, motor/controller limits, the 20 × 10.25 × 11 in footprint, 75 lb handling, terminal torque, cable ampacity and protection. Do not series-connect it.

Common questions
Can this replace three 12V batteries?
In a compatible 36V system, one dedicated 36V battery can replace a series string, but the charger, motor/controller, cables, fit and protection must match the new battery.
Does it charge below freezing?
It includes internal heating. The heater requires available charge current and works within Epoch's control logic; follow the current manual for cold-weather operation.
Can batteries be connected in series?
No. Epoch lists parallel expansion only, up to four matched batteries. Do not series-connect dedicated 36V packs.
Is it appropriate for engine starting?
No. It is a deep-cycle battery for compatible 36V loads, not an engine-cranking battery.
