Common questions
Will it communicate directly with every Victron device?
Not automatically. Confirm the exact battery, communications box, cable and compatible Victron GX/inverter setup, then follow Epoch's current protocol instructions.
Can it replace two 12V batteries in series?
In a compatible 24V system, one dedicated 24V battery can simplify the bank, but charger voltage, fit, current and protection must be verified.
Can I series-connect two for 48V?
No. Epoch lists parallel expansion only for this dedicated 24V model.
Does it include the 5-inch touch screen?
No separate touch screen is shown as included with the battery. Treat monitoring accessories as separate unless the current Torven offer explicitly says otherwise.
