The Epoch C24230A V2 Elite pairs 230Ah of LiFePO4 capacity with native Victron CAN communication, Bluetooth monitoring, internal heating and an IP67 enclosure. It is built for premium 24V marine, RV and off-grid systems where system visibility matters as much as runtime.

Native Victron communication

CAN communication can share state of charge, alarms and BMS limits with compatible Victron GX systems when the harness, DIP switches, port speed, DVCC and firmware are configured correctly.

Use the Epoch app to view state of charge, voltage, temperature, cycle data and battery alerts from a phone without opening the battery compartment.

Cold-weather charging support

Internal heating uses incoming charge energy to warm cells before charging resumes in freezing conditions, subject to BMS and charger limits.

A mountable on/off switch and detailed battery gauge make core status and control easier to reach when the battery is tucked into a protected bay.

Use 110A as the verified continuous design value: Epoch's current product page and older manual disagree on some higher peak and charge figures. Confirm the installed label and latest model documentation before sizing surge loads or charging above this continuous value.

  • Physical size is 20.86 × 8.65 × 12.06 in and weight is 97 lb. Confirm tray, hold-down, lifting path, service access and terminal clearance.
  • For non-Victron systems, Epoch lists 28.4V absorption, at least 15 minutes absorption per battery, 27.0V float, equalization off and no temperature compensation.
  • Up to two matched batteries may be connected in series and up to sixteen in parallel under Epoch's current configuration rules; mixed series-parallel banks require explicit support.
  • IP67 is a controlled dust and temporary-immersion rating, not approval for permanent submersion or careless washdown.
  • Use a qualified installer for cables, busbars, protection, disconnects, torque, Victron settings and commissioning records.

Common questions

Will it work with my Victron system?

It supports compatible Victron GX integration. Confirm the GX model, communication port, cable, port speed, firmware, DIP settings and DVCC configuration before purchase.

Can this battery start an engine?

No. It is a deep-cycle house-power battery, not a cranking battery.

Can I expand the bank?

Yes. Epoch lists up to sixteen matched units in parallel and up to two in series. Follow the latest manual for topology, communication, state-of-charge matching and branch protection.
