Fast recovery for large 12V banks

Put up to 50 amps back into compatible LiFePO4 batteries.

The Epoch 12V 50A charger is designed for large 12V LiFePO4 house banks where a 10A or 15A charger would keep a generator, shore-power connection or garage outlet occupied for too long. It combines standard 120V AC input, ring-terminal output and a sealed IP67 housing.

Why it stands out

Spend less time waiting for a large bank to recover

High-output lithium charging

A 50A output is well suited to compatible 200Ah, 300Ah and 460Ah-class 12V batteries whose published charge limits allow the full current.

Secure ring-terminal connection

Direct ring terminals provide a low-resistance connection for semi-permanent RV, marine and off-grid charging installations.

Built-in safety protections

Epoch lists reverse-polarity, overcharge, output-overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and temperature protections.

Sealed mobile-ready housing

The IP67 aluminum housing is dust-tight and waterproof, while still requiring safe, dry and code-compliant AC connections.

Sized for substantial 12V LiFePO4 capacity

  • Large RV and camper house banks.
  • Marine house-power batteries charged from shore power.
  • Generator-backed boondocking and off-grid systems.
  • Shop or garage charging of compatible high-capacity 12V LiFePO4 batteries.

Confirm before ordering

Fit the entire system—not only the headline spec

Verify the battery or bank accepts at least 50A charge current and uses a compatible 12V LiFePO4 profile. Do not use on lead-acid, AGM, gel or another voltage class unless the manufacturer expressly approves it. Size AC supply, DC conductors and protection correctly.

Manufacturer protection

Manufacturer support without an invented warranty term

Epoch's current public product page does not state a charger-specific warranty duration. Confirm the current accessory warranty and return terms before purchase; do not assume the 11-year battery warranty applies to the charger.

Common questions

How long will a 50A charger take?

A simple bulk-stage estimate is battery amp-hours divided by 50, then add time for tapering, balancing, temperature limits and conversion losses. A 300Ah bank is not guaranteed to be full in exactly six hours.

Can I charge a 100Ah battery?

Only if that battery's published maximum charge current is at least 50A and its voltage profile is compatible. Check the battery manual first.

Is it safe to use on a boat?

The charger housing is listed IP67, but AC outlets, extension cords and connections must remain safe, dry and compliant. Follow marine electrical requirements and secure the charger properly.

Does it wake a battery showing 0V?

Epoch's current public listing does not explicitly promise a dedicated 0V BMS wake-up function. Follow the battery manual or contact Epoch before attempting recovery charging.
