Capacity-first 12V storage
More than 4kWh in a compact, no-frills deep-cycle battery.
The Epoch 12314-ECO is built for buyers who want substantial LiFePO4 capacity without paying for Bluetooth or internal heating they may not need. Its 314Ah capacity, high-current BMS and series/parallel flexibility fit value-focused RV, marine house-power and off-grid solar builds.
4.02kWhNominal energy

4S / 16PExpansion limits
Why it stands out
Spend the budget on capacity
314Ah in a compact footprint
Store 4,019Wh nominal energy in a case measuring 13.75 in at the base, 15.5 in across the handles, 7.63 in wide and 10.5 in high with terminal bolts.
250A continuous output
Support high-demand 12V loads and compatible inverters when cables, protection, busbars, voltage drop and surge requirements are sized for the complete system.
Flexible bank design
Epoch lists up to four matched batteries in series or sixteen in parallel, giving system builders a route to more voltage or capacity when its current wiring rules are followed.
Cold-charge protection
The BMS blocks charging below 32°F to protect the cells. This Eco model does not include internal heating, so the battery or compartment must warm before charging resumes.
A practical fit for value-focused builds
-
RVs and campers: create a large 12V house bank for refrigeration, lighting, electronics and inverter-powered loads.
-
Marine house power: support compatible onboard loads in a dry, secured battery compartment.
-
Solar and off-grid storage: add substantial capacity where app monitoring and automatic heating are not required.
-
Multi-battery systems: expand voltage or capacity using identical matched batteries and the latest Epoch configuration guidance.
Know before you buy
Eco Series keeps the feature set intentionally simple
No Bluetooth and no internal heater: choose this model for capacity and value. If you need app monitoring or automatic cold-weather heating, compare Epoch's Essential, Pro or Elite lines.
- This is a deep-cycle battery and is not intended for engine starting or repeated cranking.
- Use LiFePO4-compatible charging with 14.2-14.6V bulk/absorption, 13.4-13.8V float, equalization disabled and temperature compensation disabled.
- Charging is permitted from 32°F to 131°F; low-temperature protection interrupts charging below the supported range.
- The IP54 enclosure is dust-protected and splash-resistant but should not be submerged, pressure washed or left in an unprotected outdoor location.
- Confirm tray fit, restraint, terminal clearance, charger profile, cable ampacity, protection and system topology before ordering.
Manufacturer protection
4,500+ cycles and a 6-year Epoch warranty
The 12314-ECO carries Epoch's six-year manufacturer warranty—not the 11-year coverage shown on some higher-tier Epoch batteries. Current written terms, approved use and claim requirements apply.
Common questions
Does this battery have Bluetooth?
No. The Eco Series is positioned as a capacity-first battery without app monitoring.
Will it heat itself in freezing weather?
No. Its BMS blocks unsafe low-temperature charging, but the battery does not include internal heating. Warm the battery into its approved charging range before charging.
Can I use it for engine starting?
No. It is a deep-cycle energy-storage battery. Choose a manufacturer-rated cranking or dual-purpose model for starting service.
Why choose Eco instead of Essential or Elite?
Choose Eco when capacity, current capability and price matter more than Bluetooth, heating or advanced system communication. Compare total installed needs before deciding.
