Confirm before ordering
Fit the entire system—not only the headline spec
Confirm the Group 24 tray, 10.25 × 6.75 × 9 in dimensions, hold-down, terminal orientation, charger profile, cable ampacity and protection. Heating does not remove the need to follow the published temperature limits.
Manufacturer protection
4,000+ cycles and an 11-year manufacturer warranty
Epoch publishes a 4,000+ cycle rating and an 11-year manufacturer warranty. The written terms, current manual and approved application control coverage.
Common questions
Does this battery heat itself?
Yes. Internal heating supports charging in cold conditions when charge current is available. The BMS and current manual determine when heating activates and when charging resumes.
Can I use four batteries for a 48V bank?
Epoch lists up to four matched batteries in series. The charger, inverter and all protection must be designed for the resulting bank voltage.
Is IP54 waterproof?
IP54 means dust and splash resistance, not submersion. Install the battery in a protected, secured location and keep terminals and connections dry.
Can it start an engine?
No cranking rating is published for this Essential Series deep-cycle model. Use a manufacturer-rated starting or dual-purpose battery for engine cranking.
