The EG4 FlexBOSS21 combines split-phase AC output with 21kW of usable PV input and 3 solar trackers. Battery-only output is 12kW; the higher AC rating requires PV gain and the manufacturer-specified grid-connected conditions. Batteries, panels and GridBOSS are separate.
Plan a complete energy system
Use this 48V-class hybrid inverter in an installer-designed grid-interactive or off-grid system. It supports 120/240V split-phase operation and compatible 120/208V installations. Confirm the battery communication protocol, firmware, array design, permits and utility requirements before installation.
Inverter package
Includes one inverter and the manufacturer-listed mounting bracket, positioning template, current transformers, monitoring dongle, battery and parallel communication cables, terminals and installation hardware. The official packing list identifies the exact contents. Battery power cables, external protection, batteries, solar panels and site installation are separate unless expressly listed in that packing list.
Monitoring and expansion
Review operating data through EG4 monitoring. GridBOSS integration enables additional load and generator management; the gateway is sold separately. Parallel operation requires the specified communication, wiring and configuration. Select equipment around your actual continuous loads and battery output limits.
