A covered ANL holder with the exact 20A or 40A fuse selected

Choose the 20A or 40A option currently offered on this page.

The current Torven product offers two RICH SOLAR ANL fuse-holder packages: RS-ANL20 with a 20A fuse and RS-ANL40 with a 40A fuse. A transparent cover makes the fuse element easier to inspect, while plated terminal contacts support properly built charge-controller, battery and other low-voltage DC circuits up to the published 72V rating.

Fuse size must protect the conductor and equipment

Choose 20A or 40A only after checking conductor ampacity, continuous-load rules, equipment limits and available fault current. Never install a larger fuse just to stop repeated opening.

Why it stands out

Serviceable overcurrent protection with visible status

Holder and matching fuseThe selected package combines the covered holder with the exact 20A or 40A ANL fuse.
Transparent windowInspect the fuse element without removing the protective cover.
Plated contactsGold/nickel-plated terminal contact surfaces are intended to resist corrosion when lugs are clean and correctly torqued.

System fit

Coordinate fuse, holder, cable and source fault current.

Confirm system voltage, continuous and surge current, conductor size, lug-hole fit, terminal torque, available short-circuit current, mounting orientation and whether ANL interruption capacity is suitable for the source.

Strong use casesSolar-controller, DC distribution and selected battery circuits that have been engineered for a 20A or 40A ANL fuse and 72V-or-lower system.
Installer checksFuse amperage, voltage, interrupt capacity, conductor ampacity, terminal stud and lug fit, cover clearance, heat and service access.

Overcurrent protection works only when correctly rated, located, enclosed and connected. Follow the current equipment and fuse instructions and applicable electrical or vehicle requirements.

Common questions

ANL fuse-selection questions

Can I choose 30A, 60A or another size here?

No. The current options on this Torven page are 20A RS-ANL20 and 40A RS-ANL40 only.

Should I choose 20A or 40A?

Choose from conductor ampacity, equipment maximums, continuous current and fault conditions. The circuit design—not the closest load label—sets the fuse.

Can I use it on a 48V battery system?

The holder is published at 72V, but the fuse's DC interrupt capability and available battery fault current must also be suitable.

Does the transparent cover make the terminals touch-safe?

It helps shield and inspect the fuse, but installation still needs proper enclosure, boots, spacing and service precautions for the system voltage and energy.
