Select 10A or 20A charging for a compatible 12V LiFePO4 battery

Charge at 14.4V from universal 100–240V AC power.

This RICH SOLAR listing offers the RS-BC12V10 10A and RS-BC12V20 20A chargers for compatible 12V LiFePO4 batteries. Both use a 14.4V output profile and universal AC input, while current, enclosure size and input demand change with the selected model.

RICH SOLAR 12V 10A LiFePO4 charger option

At a glance

Choose by battery acceptance and desired charge rate

14.4V ±0.2VOutput voltage
10A or 20ACurrent options
100–240V / 47–63HzAC input
12V LiFePO4Battery chemistry
Use only with a battery that allows a 14.4V LiFePO4 charger

Confirm battery chemistry, charge-voltage requirement, maximum charge current, connector type and polarity. The 20A option is not automatically better when the battery or AC source is limited.

Why it stands out

Two charge-rate choices with model-specific hardware

10A RS-BC12V10A compact IP65 charger with a 2A maximum AC input, 8.19 × 3.58 × 2.07 in enclosure and 3.86 lb published weight.
20A RS-BC12V20Double the published output current, with a 4A maximum AC input, 9.06 × 3.58 × 2.07 in enclosure and 3.75 lb published weight.
Status and protectionThe chargers provide LED status information and protection functions described on their current model pages; the 20A version also lists three-stage pre-charge, constant-current and constant-voltage operation.

System fit

Match the charger to the exact battery and connector.

Verify the battery can accept 14.4V and the selected 10A or 20A current, then inspect connector type, terminal size and polarity. Operate within the published −4°F to 104°F temperature range and keep the AC/DC connection area protected.

Choose 10A whenThe battery has a lower charge-current limit, a slower charge is acceptable or the available AC circuit and connector setup favor the smaller charger.
Choose 20A whenThe battery explicitly allows 20A charging and the faster rate, 4A maximum AC input and model-specific connector arrangement fit the system.

In the box

What the selected charger listing covers

  • 1 × selected charger: RS-BC12V10 10A or RS-BC12V20 20A

Battery, adapter leads, replacement connectors, extension cords and installation work are not listed as included. Read the selected variant and connector details before ordering.

Product confidence

Use the charger and battery manuals together

Model dimensions, current ratings and connection details differ. Warranty eligibility, operating limits and remedies follow RICH SOLAR's current written terms for the selected charger.

Common questions

10A versus 20A charger questions

Which charger should I choose?

Choose the highest current the exact battery and BMS explicitly allow, then consider desired charge time, AC circuit capacity, connector type and cable setup.

Can either model charge lead-acid batteries?

These listings are identified for 12V LiFePO4 batteries. Use a charger with the correct lead-acid profile for AGM, gel, flooded or sealed batteries.

Can it wake a battery whose BMS has shut down?

The 20A source lists safe activation of BMS-protected batteries. Follow the charger and battery instructions and stop if the battery reports a fault or unsafe temperature.

How long will charging take?

Divide the amp-hours to be replaced by the selected 10A or 20A rate, then allow for charging stages, BMS behavior, temperature and losses. Actual time varies with state of charge and battery size.
