A compact 48V off-grid system with rack-battery storage

Combine 1.25kW of solar, 5.12kWh of storage and a 6.5kW 120V inverter.

The RICH SOLAR RS-CBK1250 packages five MEGA 250 panels, one ALPHA 5 PRO rack battery and a NOVA 6500S hybrid inverter. It is a compact foundation for a cabin, workshop, remote outbuilding or selected backup loads when roof space or initial array size is limited.

Common questions

RS-CBK1250 buying questions

Is one 5.12kWh battery enough for a 6,500W inverter?

It can be appropriate when your actual loads and surge fit both products, but the inverter should not be treated as 6,500W of all-night capacity. Build a watt-hour load plan and confirm the battery’s current limit.

Can it run 240V appliances?

The included inverter is listed for 120V AC output. Do not assume native 240V support; choose a different compatible architecture for 240V loads.

Does this include every part needed for installation?

No. It includes the listed major equipment and PV items, while site-specific AC distribution, transfer equipment, grounding, battery cabling, permits and labor still have to be planned.

Can I add a second battery later?

Expansion may be possible with matching ALPHA 5 PRO batteries and the correct communication, protection and mounting. Confirm revision compatibility and the parallel-battery procedure before mixing a new battery into an older bank.
