A standard-polarity solar-connector-to-SAE adapter

Bridge a compatible solar lead to an SAE port with 20.5 inches of 10AWG cable.

The current Torven option is the RICH SOLAR RS-M2S standard-polarity adapter. It connects a compatible solar-connector pair to an SAE plug through 20.5 inches of 10AWG tinned-copper cable, with published ratings of 600V and 45A under the stated component conditions.

Why it stands out

A compact transition between two common DC formats

10AWG conductorThe short tinned-copper lead helps limit resistance when the complete circuit fits the published current and terminal ratings.
Protected connector endsThe manufacturer lists IP68 protection for fully mated solar connectors and a dust cap for the SAE end.
No field spliceA finished adapter avoids cutting panel leads when the exact connectors and polarity already match.

System fit

Match connector, polarity, voltage and current together.

Confirm the solar-connector family, positive/negative orientation, SAE polarity, equipment input voltage and maximum current. The cable rating does not override the lower limit of the connected panel, port, controller or fuse.

Strong use casesCompatible RV, boat, trailer and portable-solar circuits using the same solar-connector family and standard-polarity SAE interface.
Confirm before orderingSAE positive contact, solar-connector polarity, system voltage, maximum current, required fuse, cable routing and environmental exposure.

Reverse-polarity adapter, solar panel, controller, SAE port, extension cable, fuse and installation hardware are not listed as included.

Product confidence

Verify polarity with the equipment manuals

Never assume wire color or connector shape proves polarity. Confirm both ends against the current diagrams and test safely before energizing the full circuit.

Common questions

RS-M2S adapter questions

Is this the standard- or reverse-polarity version?

The current Torven listing offers RS-M2S standard polarity. It does not list the RS-M2SRP reverse-polarity option.

Will it fit every SAE port?

No. Compare physical fit, contact orientation, polarity, voltage and current with the exact device.

Is the complete adapter waterproof?

The manufacturer lists IP68 for fully mated solar connectors and a dust cap for the SAE end. Protect the complete connection according to each component's rating.

Do I still need a fuse?

Use the fuse or breaker required by the source, conductor and connected equipment. The adapter's current rating does not replace circuit protection.
