Why it stands out

High-output conversion with built-in protection

Up to 100A continuousHigh current can shorten recharge time when the battery bank and AC circuit can safely accept it.
Three published output levelsApproximate 13.2V, 13.6V and 14.6V no-load values give an installer concrete voltage checkpoints for system compatibility.
Proportional cooling and protectionThe fan responds to load while the unit monitors reverse polarity, overload and over-temperature conditions.

System fit

Size both sides of the converter.

Confirm the 120V branch circuit can support the converter and size the DC conductors, lugs, fuse or breaker and disconnect for up to 100A with acceptable voltage drop. Place the unit where airflow and service access meet the current manual.

Strong use casesRVs, trailers, boats and stationary 12V battery systems that need substantial charging from a compatible 120V AC source.

Common questions

RS-PC100 charging questions

Can it charge LiFePO4 batteries?

Do not assume compatibility from the 14.6V value alone. Confirm the current RS-PC100 manual identifies the required charging behavior for the exact battery, including its BMS and maximum charge current.

Will it replace my RV converter?

Only if the DC voltage, current, AC input, mounting, distribution and battery profile all match the existing system. Treat replacement as an electrical design task.

Does it always draw 15A from shore power?

No. Published maximum AC input is 15A; actual draw changes with load and efficiency. The branch circuit still must be sized for the equipment and installation.

What DC cable and fuse should I use?

Use the current manual, maximum output current, actual run length, terminal limits and local code. Keep the high-current DC run short and protected close to the source as required.
